Emy Kim

Emy is an objects conservator based in downtown Toronto and Kingston. She has completed projects for private clients and museums, including the Aga Khan Museum (Toronto), the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Legion of Honor (San Francisco), Asian Art Museum (San Francisco), Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University, SFO Airport Museum, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

She received her PhD in the History of Technology from the University of Toronto, MA in Fine Arts Conservation from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University, MA in Art History from Williams College, and a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Princeton University. Emy is currently Associate Professor of Artifacts Conservation at Queen's University. Private commissions accepted.
