Michelle Gallinger
Accredited in 2008, conservator, specialization in paintings and painted objects. Undergraduate degrees from University of Regina include a Bachelor of Arts, Art History (1990), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction (1994), Printmaking, Master of Art Conservation degree in paintings from Queen's University (1997). Internships at the National Gallery of Canada and the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Since 1998, in private practice working on a variety of fine art objects. Offering services in the conservation of paintings, murals, gilded frames, soapstone sculpture and historic interiors. Experienced in course instruction (workshops), active in treatments and consultation for both private and institutional clients and executing large scale onsite conservation projects.
