Esther Méthé
Accredited in 1995, conservator, specialization in textiles. M.Sc. in Clothing and Textiles, University of Alberta, specializing in textile conservation (1989). After graduating, worked at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, New York. From there, went to work at the Canadian Conservation Institute (1990-1995) and then at the Royal Ontario Museum (1995-2002) in Toronto. From 2002 to 2015 she was the Margaret Wing Dodge Chair in Conservation, Chief Conservator at The Textile Museum and then at the The George Washington University Museum / Textile Museum in Washington, DC. Retired
